Tasting Notes:
Our 2010 Aspen Pinot Gris is the first vintage with our own estate grow fruit coming from the Aspen Block. The 2010 vintage is loaded with fruit flavors and complexity that is not always the case with a Pinot Gris. The aromatics include peach, grapefruit, mineral, and a hint of vanilla. Flavors abound with lemon, grapefruit, and peach with a nice hint of earth. It is fun to drink because every time you take a sip, you discover a new dimension. With Residual Sugar of 1.0 and a little higher acidity, the 2010 is very crisp with a soft, clean finish.
