About This Product
Tasting Notes
Wonderful whiffs of rose petals, red cherries, raspberry compote, and baking spices erupt from the glass. The easy entry transcends gently into a mouthful of integrated tannins with flavors of cherry pie, caramel, and vanilla. A plush mouthfeel and a lengthy finish will allow this wine to pair nicely with roasted turkey smothered with plum chutney and smashed potatoes with turkey gravy.

Winemaker Notes
This vineyard gives us superb fruit every year and it’s the only one of our fruit sources that’s planted on Jory volcanic soils. Volcanic soils in Oregon make Pinots with bright, red fruits and this site doesn’t disappoint with truckloads of cherry, and berry flavors. The fruit from this site is usually the earliest pick of the year and also one of the ripest. Two different Dijon clones (777 and 114) make up this blend, with two thirds of it coming from the 777 clone. The grapes for this wine were destemmed, leaving 5% whole cluster, and then cold soaked for 9 days. The fermenters were inoculated with BRL-97 yeast and then hand punched until dryness. Each lot was pressed off and settled before going to barrel.
