Weather Policy

Wine is a product that is highly susceptible to negative impact and effects from environmental factors. Therefore Northwest Wines to You reserves the right to delay shipping based on extreme weather conditions, either hot or cold, anywhere along the shipping route. It is our goal to always ensure that the product arrives to you as it was meant to be by the producer, in the best condition possible.

When an order is placed you will receive an email confirmation listing the anticipated shipping date. If you would like to request a specific shipping date, you may do so at this time by contacting Northwest Wines to You within 24 hours of placing your order. If ground shipments are incurring a weather delay, you may choose to upgrade to air service by emailing info@northwestwinestoyou.com with your order number and request. Additional shipping charges will apply.

If you insist on immediate ground shipment during times of adverse weather conditions, you will be required to supply a signed written request agreeing to accept all liability for said shipment. UPS and Fed Ex will not cover losses due to damage from either freezing or high heat conditions.
