Special Process States:
Alabama - In order for Northwest Wines to You to ship wines to residents in the state of Alabama, we must send the wine directly to the customer's local ABC Store. The customer must pick the wine up from the store, pay state taxes and fees, and provide an adult signature. Northwest Wines to You will contact the customer to make arrangements for shipping. Please allow additional time to process the order and ensure all state requirements are met.
Pennsylvania - Northwest Wines to You is a licensed direct shipper in the state of Pennsylvania. In order for Northwest Wines to You to ship wines to residents in the state of Pennsylvania, we must send the wine directly to a Pennsylvania Wine & Spirits Store of the customer's choosing. The customer must pick the wine up from the store, pay any additional state taxes and fees as outlined by the state, and provide an adult signature. Only wines which are not available in Pennsylvania Wine & Spirits Stores may be purchased online from Northwest Wines to You. Pennsylvania also requires that any direct wine shipper charge the customer the following fees: a shipping charge, a $4.50 handling fee (built into the shipping rate at checkout), Pennsylvania's 18% liquor tax, and 6% sales tax (and 2% sales tax in Philadelphia or 1% Allegheny counties). The handling fees and taxes are collected by the state of Pennsylvania and are included in Northwest Wines to You's tax report. Northwest Wines to You will contact the customer to make all necessary arrangements for shipping. Please allow additional time to process the order and ensure all state requirements are met.
