Morgan Family Reserve Single Vineyard is located in the Ribbon Ridge Appellation.

We, Lance and Delinda Morgan, began working our farm in 1992. For a number of years our horses and cows added fertilizer over our entire property, including the 2 acre vineyard site. We planted our vines in 1998. Our two youngest sons were living at home and worked the vineyard with us every year. At times, they would complain and we told them the Old Italian Proverb: "Your least liked Son will inherit the vineyard". All joking aside we really needed the help. At first it's all work, no wine. As the vines and vineyard mature they become a little easier.

Our label, a piece of my husband's history, is a photo of a metal sign that hung on his family's mailbox. When Lance was growing up they lived at a thoroughbred horse farm named Morgan Meadows. Their horses raced at Portland Meadows. We have some photos of Lance's winners. Lance's mother wanted us to have some family history, so we honor our family by the label. Currently, we are working towards training draft horses to work in the vineyard.
