Domaine Pouillon is a family-owned and operated winery located in the best-kept secret of raw, natural beauty in the Columbia River Gorge: Lyle, Washington. Each year we produce 1500 cases of premium wine. Our small size allows us to seek out the best grapes from the Columbia Gorge and Horse Heaven Hills AVAs. Our grapes are hand-picked in small lots at their ideal ripeness. Each barrel of our wine starts with premium fruit and the greatest of care in the cellar. We work diligently to reveal terroir by integrating Biodynamic philosophy in our winery and farming practices and by applying hands-on, minimal mechanization in our “petit” winery. At Domaine Pouillon, we practice traditional artisan winemaking techniques, taking our time and allowing the wine to age in the cellar before blending, bottling, and labeling each by hand. Every bottle is handcrafted; and while this may take a little longer, a truly fine wine is worth the wait.
