About This Product
Tasting Notes:
The result of a bountiful harvest in only the second year of fruit, this wine opens with intense aromas of succulent black cherry and cocoa, and a reminder of the Jory soil. In the mouth, the palate is velvety smooth and heady, showing deep berry and honey notes, layered with hints of tart cherry and toasted oak. This wine seems to grow in concentration after the first sip... the flavors echo in the mouth long after holding the glass up to enjoy its classic Pinot depth of color. This is an impressive young wine, eminently satisfying now, that shows loads of potential and will reward those with the patience to let it rest for another five years or more. As with the 2007 Pinot Noir, it is best paired with salmon, steaks or dark chocolate in the company of your loved one.
