This wine is beautifully structured and balanced yet still retains elegance and approachability. The ripe cherries and blueberries on the nose are framed elegantly with aromas of toast, charred meat, nutmeg and vanilla imparted from our French oak barrels. The berries, infused with the toast of the oak, are further echoed in the silky smooth finish.

Vineyard Notes:
Our 2007 Select is an elegant blend of handpicked grapes from Yamhill Springs Vineyard (80%) and Hawk's View Vineyards (20%).
Winemaker Notes:
We strive with our Select to choose barrels which best showcase the vintage. The wine was raised in approximately 44% new oak for 9 months and after racking and blending it went into primarily new oak for approximately 2 months before bottling in September.
